As a (Junior) Accountant (f/m/d), you are an important part of our finance team and help ensure that our accounting runs smoothly.
With your structured working style and eye for detail, you contribute to transparent financial processes and a reliable data basis for business decisions.
Your workplace: With our hybrid working model "Urlaubsguru Balance," you can work remotely for up to 120 working days per year. On the remaining days, you will be on-site at our headquarters in Holzwickede.
Please note: We cannot consider fully remote applications for this position – please only apply if our working model fits well with you and your place of residence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In our finance team, you will support the operational day-to-day accounting business and gradually take on more responsibility for efficient and reliable processes.
- Financial Accounting & Operations: Recording current business transactions in general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting, as well as processing payment transactions
- Closing & Reporting: Participation in the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and support in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Payroll & Interface Work: Support with payroll accounting in close cooperation with the People & Organizations team
- Taxes & Compliance: Preparation of advance VAT returns as well as other reports to authorities and ensuring compliance with tax requirements (e.g., travel expenses, non-cash benefits)
YOUR SKILLS
You approach topics in a structured way, work reliably, and are eager to make a difference together as a team.
- Completed commercial training, training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r), or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally around 3 years or more
- Confident handling of common accounting tools, ideally DATEV (incl. payroll)
- Business-fluent communication in German
