THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As an IT Technician, you take on a key role in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the on-site IT infrastructure. You are the first point of contact on site (not remote) and play a significant part in ensuring that all technical systems run smoothly. You will take on an exciting and challenging task, where you use your IT expertise to resolve faults and implement innovative solutions.
In this position, you have the opportunity to actively shape the IT structures and support the development of the site. Together with your colleagues on site, you will work to achieve operational goals and continuously optimise processes. You identify with our leadership principles, live our values and use them as the foundation for your success in the daily business.

- You take on varied, hands-on IT tasks and provide crucial 1st- and 2nd-level support for our complex IT landscape, including all kinds of end devices (Windows, Linux, Android, Apple), also in the network and server area.

WE WOULD LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF…
- You have a completed vocational training in the IT field, for example as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Specialist or IT Administrator.
- Ideally, you have initial professional experience in systems administration, particularly in the infrastructure area.
- You take full responsibility for your tasks and proactively develop ideas within the team to optimise support procedures, documentation processes and our knowledge transfer, and to continuously improve IT structures.
- You are a team player and look forward to working in interdisciplinary teams on a 2-shift system to find the best solutions for our IT together.
- Your good German and English skills (at least C1 level in German), both spoken and written, simplify communication within the team and enable competent IT service and error-free documentation.

Our employees in logistics ensure that more than 60 million customers in 29 European markets receive smooth and reliable service every day. Zalando today has a growing European logistics network with currently twelve sites in seven countries. In Germany alone, thousands of employees from over 100 nations work at several Zalando logistics sites.
The logistics centre in Lahr in the Black Forest is the newest of our German sites. The building, with 130,000 square metres of floor space, sets new standards for the industry and combines next-generation infrastructure with intelligent thinking and a great team spirit.
We shipped our first parcel from the Black Forest site in 2016 and offer jobs for around 2,500 colleagues. In addition to entry-level opportunities in warehouse logistics, in Lahr we are also looking for people interested in administration and technical departments.
