Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is driven by new sales, new customers and clear targets. This is a pure hunter role where you open doors, create demand and win new logos primarily in banking, finance, telecom and debt collection.

You use Experian's data, insights and technology to solve real customer challenges and lead sales processes from first dialogue to signed agreement. The role involves close collaboration with product, pre-sales, analysis, marketing and management, and you will have a key position in strengthening Experian's commercial growth in Norway.

What you will do

  • Build relationships and own a structured and predictable pipeline towards prioritized customer groups
  • Prospect strategically and secure qualified meetings with decision-makers in banking/finance/fintech
  • Lead complex sales processes (multi-stakeholder) from first conversation to signed agreement
  • Develop needs understanding, business case and solution proposals in collaboration with internal experts
  • Ensure progress, quality and good "deal hygiene" at each stage of the sales process
  • Represent Experian professionally in an industry where reputation means everything

Qualifications

  • You are motivated by new sales, new customers and clear targets — and take ownership of your results
  • You are confident in customer conversations and good at creating momentum and decisions
  • You work in a structured way, prioritize smartly and are able to drive multiple processes in parallel
  • You have a consultative, down-to-earth and professional approach — clear without being pushy
  • You collaborate well and build trust with both customers and internally

We believe you have

  • 5+ years of experience in new sales/business development (B2B)
  • Documented good sales results
  • Experience leading complex sales processes from A to Z in cross-functional teams
  • Fluent Norwegian and good spoken/written English

It is an advantage if you also have

  • Network in banking, finance or fintech
  • Experience with data, credit risk, decision or fraud solutions
