What is Xapo Bank?
Xapo Bank is the world's first fully licensed bank built around Bitcoin: a Gibraltar-regulated private bank where members hold US dollars and BTC side by side, earn interest on both, spend globally on a card, and move between them instantly. Founded by Wences Casares — the entrepreneur often called "patient zero" of Bitcoin in Silicon Valley — Xapo began in 2014 as the company famous for storing billions in BTC in Swiss mountain vaults, and evolved into a regulated digital bank serving members across the world.
