About Wellhub
What is Wellhub?
Wellhub is a corporate wellbeing platform on a mission to "make every company a wellness company where employees check in with their wellbeing every day." Its platform connects employees worldwide "to the best partners for fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep—all in one simple subscription," giving entire workforces a single, flexible way to look after their physical, mental, nutritional and emotional health. Founded in 2012 and originally known as Gympass, the company rebranded to Wellhub in April 2024 to reflect its evolution from gym access into a holistic wellbeing solution. As co-founder and CEO Cesar Carvalho put it, the new brand reflects "our commitment to providing a holistic wellbeing solution, going beyond physical fitness to encompass mental health, nutrition, sleep, and more." Today more than 15,000 companies use Wellhub.
Where will I work?
Wellhub is headquartered in New York City and operates as a global team, with people spread across North America, Latin America and Europe. The company describes itself as "a Flexible First company," offering "hybrid and remote options to give you the freedom to work in a way that suits you" — the exact model for each role is agreed with your recruiter and hiring manager. Many engineering, data and analytics roles are fully remote, while commercial and operations roles are typically hybrid out of local offices such as São Paulo, New York and several European cities.
What is the Wellhub team like?
Wellhub describes a team "of passionate people who come together to break boundaries, support each other, and create a meaningful impact in workplace wellness." The culture emphasises winning together and "building trust through open communication and a culture where every perspective matters," alongside a strong commitment to diversity, equity and belonging: "We aim to create a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive space where everyone knows they belong." Employees are also encouraged to "live the mission" by genuinely caring for their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues. The company is proud to be Syndio Fair Pay Certified, reflecting "ongoing dedication to equitable and fair pay practices across our global team."
Work-Life Balance
Wellbeing and balance are central to how Wellhub works. The company states it believes "work should be fulfilling, inspiring, and balanced," and asks everyone to "create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness." Flexibility extends beyond location: "it also means being able to shape how and when we get things done," with employees defining schedules "that align with their time zones, team needs, and personal routines."
