What is Tremendous?
Tremendous is the global payouts platform that makes it easy for businesses to send rewards, incentives and disbursements to anyone, anywhere. As the company puts it, "Tremendous makes it easy for organizations to reward people" — letting customers send money, prepaid cards and gift cards to recipients worldwide. It's "the global platform built for businesses to send thousands of payouts to anyone, anywhere, for free," trusted by 20,000 organizations including Atlassian, MIT and United Way to deliver rewards to millions of recipients. Researchers, marketers, HR teams, nonprofits and platform businesses use Tremendous to handle everything from research incentives and referral bonuses to employee rewards, customer rebates and contractor payments. Co-founded by Nick Baum and Kapil Kale in 2010, Tremendous is profitable and "growing fast with no outside investment" — it bought out its original investors in 2013 and has been owned by founders and employees ever since.
Where will I work?
Anywhere in the Americas. Tremendous is "100% remote, with employees logging on to work from multiple continents," and is "Fully remote, meaning that there's no Tremendous office or headquarters." Job postings make the policy explicit: "Fully remote. Work from anywhere in the Americas." Rather than an office, the team comes together at company offsites held twice a year (Q1 and Q3), with travel, lodging and meals covered.
