Where will I work?
Thumbtack is a virtual-first company: "We're virtual-first, not virtual-only, and we host regular, in-person offsites and events throughout the year." The company is explicit about where you can work: "You can grow your career from the United States (39 states and counting), Ontario, British Columbia or the Philippines." In-person connection is built in through periodic offsites — roughly 1–2 times a year for individual contributors, 2–3 for corporate ICs and managers, and 4–6 for leaders.
