Taxfix is a digital tax-filing platform. Its adverts say "Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence", and its about page calls it "Europe’s leading financial platform for digital tax solutions". The careers timeline says "2016 Taxfix is founded, aiming to simplify tax filing" and records that a "Series C raised" in 2020 and that "TaxScouts rebrands to Taxfix" in 2025. LinkedIn describes a privately held financial services company with 201-500 employees headquartered in Berlin, and the adverts say the group has "over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts". The German imprint names Taxfix SE at Köpenicker Str. 122, 10179 Berlin.
Where will I work?
The about page lists "offices in Berlin, Stuttgart/Fellbach, London, Madrid, and Tallinn" and says the company helps people file across Germany, the UK and Spain. The careers page describes the working model: "We offer a hybrid setup tailored to what works best for you and your team, whether that’s remote, or in one of our vibrant offices in Berlin, Madrid, London, or Estonia." The 14 live adverts on the Ashby board are in Berlin (11) and Madrid (3); the Madrid customer success lead role asks for someone who "Is based in Madrid." The adverts also say "Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year" and "We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office".
What is the Taxfix team like?
The careers page calls it a "purpose-driven, supportive team rooted in trust, flexibility, and learning" and lists four values: Understand, Deliver, Develop and Trust, where Trust means "We assume good intent." Employee groups range from "parent and LGBTQIA+ networks to women in tech". The adverts describe "an international team of passionate professionals" and "tax experts, developers, and IT security experts". The live board spans seven departments: Commercial (3), Product Engineering (3), Performance Marketing (3), Product Management (2), Strategy, Insights and Rewards (1), FP&A (1) and Customer Success (1). The hiring process runs through a Talent Acquisition call of 30-45 minutes, a hiring manager interview, a skill assessment that may be a task, case or coding challenge, a cultural fit chat and, for leadership roles, a leadership interview.
Work-Life Balance
All 14 live adverts, in seven departments and in both Germany and Spain, list the same benefit: "30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours." (one advert words it "30 annual vacation days and flexible hours"). The careers page adds "30 days of annual working abroad + 30 days of annual vacation allowance". No advert or careers page sets core hours, a required overlap or a weekly hours figure, and public holidays are not mentioned. The careers page also promises a hybrid setup that can be remote or office-based.
