What is S-RM?
S-RM is a global corporate intelligence and cyber security consultancy. Its About page says "Founded in 2005 Nine international offices Clients supported in 140+ countries 45+ languages spoken", and the Contact page describes a "400+ strong team". The practices include cyber incident response, managed cyber security services, cyber advisory, digital forensics, offensive security, due diligence, corporate investigations, litigation support, M&A and investor services and strategic intelligence. The company is S-RM Intelligence and Risk Consulting Limited, registered in England and Wales, with its main office in London. On 6 November 2026 its careers board listed 21 open roles in London, Cape Town, Kuala Lumpur and elsewhere in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and the US.
Where will I work?
The nine offices on the About page are London, Manchester, New York, Washington DC, Utrecht, Cape Town, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, and the London office is at 61 Whitechapel High St. Hybrid working is common: the Cape Town case manager advert asks for "two days per week in office", the Malaysian incident response adverts say "work a minimum of two days a week in the office and the remainder remotely", and the London advisory advert is titled "LONDON (HYBRID)". Two kinds of role carry out-of-hours duties: incident response roles join "an on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 client incident coverage", and the Cape Town SOC Analyst role works "a 24/7 shift rotation". The remaining adverts are for research, case management, advisory and consulting roles.
What is the S-RM team like?
The careers page says S-RM prides itself on "bringing together the sharpest minds from a diverse range of backgrounds", and it lists four core values, including "We are collegiate and put the team before ourselves" and "We trust, respect, and look out for each other". There is a mentoring programme and structured training for corporate intelligence and cyber security staff, and the careers page promises "A culture which creates opportunities for exciting professional growth". One APAC cyber security employee also mentions "colleagues across regions even starting at 6 a.m. to support projects in other time zones", a reminder that the work is client-driven and global.
Work-Life Balance
The hours wording sits in the benefits section of the adverts: 16 of the 21 list "Hybrid working and flexible working hours" (London, Cape Town, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and the US). The two Malaysian incident response adverts go further: "Flexible working: work a minimum of two days a week in the office and the remainder remotely, choose your hours between 7am and 7pm." No core hours are stated. The careers page says S-RM is "proud to encourage work-life balance, including hybrid working, as part of our culture", and the values page adds: "Recognising that we all have lives outside work, and achieving a fair and healthy balance, helps us all perform at our best." In total 17 office-based adverts carry the wording on 6 November 2026; the SOC Analyst shift role also lists it but is not counted, because its own text describes evening, night and weekend shifts.
