About Spryker
What is Spryker?
Spryker is a Berlin-founded enterprise commerce platform for sophisticated B2B, marketplace and unified-commerce use cases — a composable, API-first alternative to monolithic e-commerce suites, used by brands like Aldi, Siemens and Ricoh. Founded in 2014 by Boris Lokschin and Alexander Graf and backed by more than $150M in funding (including a TCV-led round that valued it over $500M), Spryker sells globally with a team of roughly 180.
Where will I work?
Anywhere, genuinely: Spryker's job adverts lead their benefits with "Ultimate Flexibility: Work from anywhere with fully flexible hours and unlimited vacation days." The company is headquartered in Berlin with a distributed team across Europe and beyond. Spryker was an early adopter of remote-first working in German enterprise software — well before it was fashionable there — and its adverts are written in English for an international team.
What is the Spryker team like?
Around 180 "Sprykees" across engineering, product, customer success and go-to-market. The company's own working philosophy is called FLOW — "Flexible, Life, Oryx, Work — which redefines the work-life balance. We focus on outcomes over outputs." Glassdoor reviewers rate Spryker 4.2, citing work-from-anywhere and no vacation limits. Its Packaged Business Capabilities approach — composable building blocks for carts, checkout, marketplace operations and B2B workflows — is the technical bet the whole company is organised around, and the engineering culture reflects it: small autonomous teams shipping against a public product roadmap.
Work-Life Balance
Flexible hours AND unlimited vacation, verbatim in every current advert — one of the cleaner outcome-over-hours setups in enterprise software. Hiring is deliberate: the board is small (two open roles at the time of listing), so favourite the profile and watch for openings.
