About Spoiler Alert
What is Spoiler Alert?
Spoiler Alert is the B2B marketplace where CPG and food suppliers sell excess and short-dated inventory to secondary-market discount buyers — "We started Spoiler Alert to help companies sell more, waste less." Founded at MIT in 2015 by Ricky Ashenfelter and Emily Malina, the Boston-based, remote-first company has kept more than 500,000 tons of product out of landfills, backed by Collaborative Fund, Techstars, Acre Venture Partners and Maersk.
Where will I work?
Remote-first across the US, with co-working access in Boston, New York and Denver plus a home-office stipend.
What is the Spoiler Alert team like?
Around 60 people pairing supply-chain pragmatism with climate purpose — engineers, marketplace ops and CPG-facing account teams whose product's success is measured in tons not landfilled.

How we verified this listing
All three live engineering-and-beyond postings carried the Friday pairing verbatim when we listed it, and the careers page independently documents the fuller package — the double-sourcing we require. A defined vacation number (20 days) alongside the Friday perks means nothing here hides behind vagueness. Review-site ratings were unreachable at add time, disclosed as with the entire cohort.
