Trezor makes hardware wallets for storing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and is part of the SatoshiLabs Group, which describes itself as "a Czech technology holding creating HW and SW innovations in crypto and open source". Trezor's about page says the company was founded in 2013, is "100% self-owned" and has "110+ like-minded individuals". The Video Editor advert calls Trezor "dedicated to securing digital assets without compromising convenience and user experience". The group page lists sister companies including Invity, Tropic Square and Vexl, and the group careers page counts "250+ rebels & creators" across its companies. The two role adverts on the SatoshiLabs job board are Trezor roles in Prague: a Video Editor & Motion Designer in the content team and an Innovation Product Manager.
Where will I work?
The about page says "The magic happens at our Prague offices", and the group careers page gives the address as Kundratka 2359/17a, Prague 8. The careers page also says "It’s up to you - office, home, beach", but the adverts are more specific: the Video Editor & Motion Designer advert asks for someone "Prague-based: You live in the city or nearby and can join us in the office as part of a hybrid setup", and the Innovation Product Manager advert lists "Ability to collaborate onsite regularly in Prague" as a strong plus. The office is described as having an in-house gym, a library, a chill-out zone, foosball, billiards and PlayStation, and the company is pet-friendly.
What is the Trezor team like?
The about page describes "a mixed bag of crypto enthusiasts, design gurus, security genies, and true believers in the Bitcoin movement". The group careers page names three foundations, independence, integrity and courage, and says it wants "forward thinkers who crave independence and love venturing into the unknown".
