Who we are

Born in 2018, SafetyWing builds global travel medical and health insurance for digital nomads, freelancers, and remote teams. We're creating a global social safety net—starting with Nomad Insurance for individuals and Remote Health for companies—so access to healthcare and protection isn't limited by borders. Headquartered in San Francisco with a fully remote team across six continents, we design simple, modern insurance for a borderless world.

Our team

We're an international, remote-first team from 60+ countries working asynchronously with high trust and autonomy. We keep meetings light, collaborate across time zones, and meet in person for memorable gatherings in places like Tulum, Bali, Iceland, Madeira, Colombia, Germany, and Vietnam.
