What is Risk Ledger?
Risk Ledger's about page says it "is building a global network of connected organisations all working together to defend-as-one, detecting, responding, and ultimately preventing cyber attacks in real-time". It was "Founded in 2018 by Haydn Brooks" and a co-founder, and "delivers a cutting-edge third-party risk management platform". Its postings add "we're already trusted by customers like British Airways, BAE Systems and the NHS", and its site carries a press release headed "Risk Ledger Expands to the United States, Bringing Active Supply Chain Security to the World’s Largest Cyber Market". Its software works as a shared network: each organisation shares its security maturity, and "visualising the risks posed by their supply chain ecosystem" is the payoff.
Where will I work?
Its site gives the London address as "Churchill House, 142-146 Old St London, EC1V 9BW United Kingdom", and its about page says "We’re growing our London based team to join us in building a truly special company and community". Its careers page lists "Flexible, hybrid working typically 2-3 days in the office" and "30 days per year to work from abroad". Its board held five postings on 2026-10-14: three London roles that carry the 28-day line shown here (Engineering Manager, Senior Product Engineer, Senior Security Operations Engineer), a London Platform Engineer with no leave line, and a Chicago field-marketing role headed "Field Marketing Manager, US (Chicago, Hybrid)" that is not shown here.
What is the Risk Ledger team like?
Its careers page says it is a "fun, fast-paced and early stage startup" and lists six values: "Embrace your Authenticity", "Creativity over Conformity", "Meaningful Impact", "Unquestionable Integrity", "Intentional Transparency" and "Naturally Curious". It says "We're proud to come from all walks of life" and that each person "consciously and intentionally holds themselves accountable to help create a truly special environment to work in". Its postings say "Every one of us is still learning: it’s how we grow as individuals", and its engineering posting describes a leadership style of "servant leadership". It lists regular socials, including "huge summer and festive season parties".
Work-Life Balance
Three of its five postings say "28 days annual leave + bank holidays", and its careers page words the same benefit as "28 days annual leave and public holidays". The postings' wording adds the eight bank holidays of England to the 28 days, which is 36 days a year; the careers-page wording is the less explicit of the two. Beside that it lists "30 days unpaid annual leave per year to use as you wish", "Festive rest leave" described as "Companywide time off to unwind at the end of the year" (days not numbered here), and "Work from abroad 30 days per year to work from abroad". Its sick-pay line is "6 weeks full pay + 6 weeks 50% pay", and its family leave is a "Gender-neutral family leave policy with 12 weeks paid leave" plus "5 days Caretakers leave". Risk Ledger does not publish a shorter week.
