About Prometheus Group
What is Prometheus Group?
Prometheus Group builds enterprise asset-management and plant-maintenance software for the world's asset-intensive industries — oil & gas, mining, chemicals and utilities plan, schedule and execute maintenance through its SAP-certified EAM suite, Master Data as a Service, and the Prometheus-AI platform. Founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1998, it has grown — organically and by acquisition, PE-backed — to roughly 1,200 people, 200+ blue-chip customers and around $220M in revenue, with offices from Brisbane and Bangalore to Dordrecht, Dubai, Doha and Leeds.
Where will I work?
Mostly in Raleigh — Prometheus is an office-centred company with global hubs — across professional services, sales, finance, engineering and support.
What is the Prometheus team like?
Over 25 years in business shows: structured onboarding, career-trajectory mapping, mentorship and global-mobility opportunities sit alongside the sillier perks (Beer Thursdays, video games in the breakroom).
Work-Life Balance
Every one of its ten live postings lists "Half-Day Fridays" as a flat benefit, and its careers page repeats "half-day Fridays" among its perks — with no seasonal qualifier anywhere in its materials, so we read it as year-round and say so. Flexible PTO, generous paid holidays and mental-health support round out the package, with "medical, dental, and vision coverage with no waiting period" from day one.
Perks and Benefits
- Half-Day Fridays (no seasonal qualifier in any company material)
- Healthcare from Day One — "no waiting period" medical/dental/vision
- Flexible PTO + generous paid holidays and vacation days
- 401(k) with company match, bonus opportunities, free gym membership
- Structured onboarding, mentorship and global-mobility opportunities
How we verified this listing
Ten out of ten live postings on Prometheus Group's own BambooHR board listed Half-Day Fridays when we added it, and its careers page independently repeats the perk — double-sourcing from the company's own materials. We looked specifically for a summer-only qualifier and found none anywhere, which is why the profile reads it as year-round; if an offer letter says otherwise, we'd want to know. Review-site ratings were unreachable at add time (all surfaces bot-walled), disclosed as with the whole cohort — a fair interview question for an office-centred enterprise-software company.
