Work-Life Balance
Ponderosa runs a permanent 9-day fortnight on full pay. From its careers page: "Ponderosa take part in a 9-day working fortnight for a great work-life balance", with "Every Other Friday off" listed twice in benefits. The arrangement was made permanent in March 2023 after a 9-month trial, during which 97% of staff reported feeling better rested.
