What is Pitch?
Pitch is a collaborative presentation platform that helps teams craft, deliver and share decks. Founded in Berlin in 2018 by a small group of friends — several of them alumni of the team behind Wunderlist — the company set out, in its own words, "to make presentations better." Today Pitch describes itself as "the complete pitching platform," pairing an intuitive slide editor with deal rooms, CRM integrations and engagement analytics, so it reaches beyond traditional presentation software into the whole customer lifecycle. Pitch frames the bigger picture as a mission "to raise the value of the world's ideas," and the product is now used by millions of teams.
Where will I work?
Pitch is a fully remote company with a home base in Berlin. The team works "100% remote," and Pitch is emphatic that distance need not mean disconnection: "100% remote work doesn't have to be disengaged and disconnected!" To make that work across time zones, "We practice asynchronous communication," supported by virtual coffee chats, catch-ups over Zoom "as and when needed," and a weekly written bulletin that serves as an async alternative to an all-hands. Pitch is explicit that location is no barrier: asked whether someone outside Europe would be at a disadvantage, the company answers "The short answer is 'no'."
What is the Pitch team like?
Pitch is a deliberately small, global team that says "we believe in growing sustainably." Culturally, the company leans flat and high-trust: "We value flat hierarchies, clear communication, and full ownership and responsibility," and "we believe in putting people first, always." Pitch says it founded the company "with an ambition to make work more joyful for ourselves and for our community." Remote autonomy is core to how the team operates: "We believe remote working empowers you to work autonomously and flexibly on something you believe in, and your colleagues are only a Slack away."
