What is Patreon?

Patreon is the creator economy platform that empowers artists, podcasters, video creators, writers, musicians, and other independent creatives to earn sustainable income directly from their fans through paid memberships. Founded in 2013 by musician Jack Conte and developer Sam Yam, Patreon was designed to give creators a way to be paid for their work outside of advertising-based platforms.

Today, more than 250,000 active creators run paid memberships through Patreon, with millions of fans contributing to support the work they love. The platform supports creators across every medium, from podcasts and video to writing, music, illustration, and education.

Where will I work?

Patreon operates a hybrid model with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Porto, Portugal. Many roles are remote-friendly and the team includes contributors across the United States, Europe, and beyond. In-person collaboration happens regularly through team weeks and offsites.
