About Omnisend

What is Omnisend?

Omnisend is an email and SMS marketing platform built for ecommerce brands. Its about page says it "started in 2014 as Soundest — a simple email marketing tool for ecommerce brands", became Omnisend in 2017 as an omnichannel marketing automation platform, added SMS in 2018 and opened its US office in 2020. The company reports that it reached 150,000 online stores using Omnisend in 2025 and describes its team as 250+ people. The adverts say "Omnisend is customer-funded and customer-driven", and the Lithuanian operating entity, Omnisend, UAB, gives a Vilnius address in its terms of use.

Where will I work?

Omnisend lists offices in Vilnius, Kaunas and Charleston, SC. The Lithuanian adverts describe a hybrid pattern, "three days a week in the office with your team, two from home", followed by "Fully remote if you’re based elsewhere" and a "Possibility to work from anywhere in the world". The careers page lists a "Work from (almost) anywhere policy". The Lever board also shows full-time remote adverts for Bulgaria, Croatia, South America and a group of Asian markets (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau); those four adverts list "Remote work possibilities" rather than the flexible-hours line.

What is the Omnisend team like?

The adverts open with "Working at Omnisend is... kind of boring", which they explain as "no drama, no chaos, just smart people doing great work". The careers page calls the team "agile, adaptable, and autonomous" and counts 80% of its Product colleagues as senior, and "over half company-wide". Engineering adverts describe a company-wide OKR framework and "Empowered product teams that solve customer and business problems", with daily product metrics and experimentation-driven delivery. Open roles today span account management, direct marketing, product communications, finance, sales, partnerships, product design, product management and software engineering. Adverts state pay up front, for example "Gross salary starting from 3000 EUR/month based on experience" for an Account Expert, with quarterly salary reviews.

Work-Life Balance

"Flexible working hours" is a benefit on the careers page and in 10 of the 17 live adverts, across engineering, product management, product design, sales, finance, marketing, account management and partnerships. The advert wording is: "Flexible working hours. Hybrid work (in Vilnius, Kaunas, Charleston): three days a week in the office with your team, two from home." No core hours, start or finish times or weekly hours are stated, so how the flexibility works day to day is something to ask the hiring team. The Charleston advert lists "25 days of PTO annually"; the Lithuanian adverts and the careers page state no annual leave day count. Omnisend also runs Pause Days, described by its HR lead as "a deliberate step away from the usual routines like emails, meetings, and deadlines" and not as a day off. Family-related benefits include "paid child-raising leave or time off for birth or adoption", open to every family, and the careers page lists "A nap room. For rest. At work".
