About Nomagic

What is Nomagic?

Nomagic describes its business on its About page: "Nomagic engineers Physical AI systems that automate the flow of goods through warehouses". Its adverts add "We operate on a Robot as a Service business model" and say the installed robot base is "growing rapidly to hundreds of deployed across Europe and US". LinkedIn lists a privately held robotics engineering company founded in 2017, headquartered in Warsaw, in the 51-200 employee band. The About page names Kacper Nowicki as co-founder and CEO, and its timeline records for 2025 "Nomagic secures $44 million investment to drive AI innovation in robotics"; tech.eu reports that the round was led by the venture capital arm of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Customers named on the site include Arvato, ASOS, Brack.Alltron, Fiege, Komplett and Zalando.

Where will I work?

The European HQ is at Rakowiecka 36 in Warsaw, and the contact page also lists a North American HQ in Roswell, Georgia, plus Berlin and Luzern. The Lever board holds 13 adverts: seven in Warsaw, two in Zurich, two in Atlanta, and two for Germany (Dortmund and a remote Germany posting). Lever marks the Warsaw and Zurich research and engineering roles as Hybrid and the three Senior Project Manager roles as Remote. The Senior Automation Engineer advert offers "Up to 40% remote work possible", the Security & Compliance Engineer advert says "Hybrid work from Warsaw - you'll be in the office regularly, as the role benefits from presence", and the Warsaw project manager advert offers a "Remote position or at our office in Warsaw with frequent travels". Several roles involve travel: up to 20% for the automation engineer, 30-40% at peak for the service manager and up to 50% for the project managers, who also need fluent German.

What is the Nomagic team like?

The careers page calls Nomagic "a team of passionate engineers, roboticists, operators, and deep learning experts" and says "every employee has plenty of space to make important decisions". The About page lists values such as Iterate to Excellence, We All Trust You and Embrace Feedback. The adverts say the team "has built Google Warsaw, unicorn startups (Climate Corp), tested rocket engines and worked at top companies such as ABB, Dematic or Nvidia". The hiring steps in the adverts are a recruiter call, a hiring manager interview, a technical interview, homework and a half day of interviews at the office, and the adverts promise "expect detailed feedback regardless of our decision".

Work-Life Balance

Nine of the 13 adverts state flexible hours in their "Offer essentials" line. The four research adverts say "Flexible working hours." and the Senior Automation Engineer, Service Manager and three Senior Project Manager adverts say "Truly flexible working hours". They cover research, engineering, service management and project management roles in Poland, Switzerland and Germany. The adverts give no core-hours window and no weekly hours figure. The About page adds: "we trust you to act in the best interest of Nomagic, and keep a long-term work-life balance without constant guidance". Some roles come with strings: the automation engineer and project manager adverts mention "being on call sometimes" and customer-site travel. The two Atlanta adverts, the Security & Compliance Engineer and the Warehouse Operations Specialist adverts do not state flexible hours.
