About Nivoda
What is Nivoda?
Nivoda is a business-to-business marketplace for diamonds, gemstones and jewellery. Its about page says "Our mission is to make global jewellery trade simple and accessible", and the VP, Growth advert describes a platform that "connects jewellery retailers with diamond, gemstone and jewellery suppliers in 70+ countries" (other adverts say "more than 70 countries" or "100+ countries"). The company's own about page timeline dates it to April 2017, when "Nivoda officially starts trading and the London office opens", and Companies House shows Nivoda Limited incorporated on 24 April 2017 with its registered office at 100 Hatton Garden in London. The about page also says the team has "over 300 employees". The investor Northzone described a "$51m Series C" led by Northzone with Avenir, Headline, Abstract Partners and Canaan taking part.
Where will I work?
Nivoda Limited's registered office is in London, and the contact page lists offices in London (first), New York, Melbourne, Dubai, Mumbai, Surat, Hong Kong and the Netherlands; the adverts also name Bangkok. The corporate adverts are remote-first: the VP, Strategic Finance advert says "Location: London, Amsterdam or Stockholm. Remote-first, with travel as and when needed", the European sales adverts say "Location: Remote in Europe", and four growth and marketing adverts are listed as Remote. Two US sales and business-development adverts are hybrid ("Hybrid in SLC, Utah" and "Hybrid in Manhattan, New York"), while the operations, fulfilment, media-operations and quality-control adverts in Mumbai, Bangkok and New York are mostly on-site; the Ashby board marks the Mumbai accounts payable, accounts receivable, CAD design and jewellery-operations adverts as hybrid. On 6 November 2026 the Ashby board held 30 live adverts: Mumbai 10, New York 6, Remote with no region stated 4, Remote Europe or UK 4, Bangkok 3, London 1, Utah 1 and US-remote 1. This profile counts only the 12 white-collar adverts that state flexible working hours.
What is the Nivoda team like?
The careers page calls Nivoda "A global team of big thinkers, risk takers and hard workers" with "a rapidly growing workforce expanding into new countries with a dynamic, supportive and collaborative culture". It lists six core values: always start with the customer, can always be trusted, take 100% responsibility, seek to understand, make big and bold moves, and build for the long term. The sales adverts describe "a high-energy, globally distributed group that moves fast, owns outcomes", the Italian and French customer support advert mentions agents "distributed across 8+ countries", and the VP, Growth advert calls Nivoda "a remote-first, low-hierarchy company where the best idea wins". The roles on offer range from product, engineering, growth marketing and finance leadership to German- and French-speaking sales development in Europe, plus on-site operations teams in India and Thailand.
Work-Life Balance
Twelve white-collar adverts across sales, marketing, product, engineering and finance list flexible hours in their benefits, for example "Flexible working hours and a vibrant company culture" (Senior Product Manager, Growth), "Flexible working hours and a remote-first culture" (Senior AI/ML Engineer) and "Flexible working hours and a vibrant, remote-first company culture" (VP, Strategic Finance). The same adverts list "Unlimited holiday allowance". No core hours or weekly hours are stated for these roles. The picture is different for support and operations roles: the Italian and French support advert says "Working schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm (GMT)", the US support advert says "Working hours: Mon - Fri, 10AM - 7PM EST", the New York quality-control advert lists "Generous holiday allowance" rather than unlimited, and the Mumbai and Bangkok media-operations adverts ask candidates to be "Flexible to work in extended hours". The VP, Growth advert adds "Benefits vary by country of employment - your recruiter will walk you through the specifics for your location." Glassdoor could not be read on 6 November 2026 (it served a security block page), so there is no review score here.
