About Metasite
What is Metasite?
Metasite is a Vilnius-based technology engineering company for financial services. Its careers page calls it "a leading digital solutions provider specialising in bespoke software and platforms for the financial sector" and names clients such as "Man Group, Nasdaq, Willis Towers Watson, Solum Financial, RSA and others". The about page says it was "Founded in 1997 by Aldas Kirvaitis and Sarunas Chomentauskas" and that its "team of 80 professionals provides strategic advice, turnkey solutions, and ongoing support to financial institutions across the UK, Switzerland, the U.S., and the EU". Its services include custom application development, enterprise application integration, application management, migration, business intelligence and analytics, user experience design and digital transformation strategy, for banking and payments, insurance and pensions, investment management and telecoms clients. The work is project-based: one employee on the careers page says "some projects span a few months, others continue for several years".
Where will I work?
All three open roles on 6 November 2026 are in Vilnius, and the careers page labels each one "Vilnius | Hybrid". The adverts say "A choice of working in our central Vilnius office or remotely.", and the careers page lists an "Unlimited work from home policy" and "Workation up to 182 days per year". The Vilnius office at Šeimyškių st. 19 is described as "an innovative workspace incorporating principles of wellbeing, sustainability and flexibility", with a nap room, underground bike storage and parking, and a pet-friendly office. The contact page also gives a London address for business development in the UK and Switzerland.
What is the Metasite team like?
The adverts describe "technology professionals who believe in the power of a dynamic flat-hierarchy culture" and "enjoy working in autonomous teams", made up of systems architects, software developers, UI designers, QA engineers, business analysts and project managers. The careers page lists three values (Excellence, Curiosity and Long-term Relationships) and says "Senior colleagues (over 45%) accelerating your growth". The open roles are senior: the .NET and Java engineering adverts ask for 5-7+ years of experience and the MarTech Solutions Manager advert for 3+ years working with MarTech infrastructures. Both engineering adverts state "Salary ranges from 5000 EUR gross". The hiring process on the careers page runs from application review and an intro interview to a technical assignment, a team fit interview and a job offer.
Work-Life Balance
Flexible hours are stated company-wide and in the adverts. The careers page lists "Flexible working hours" first under "Flexibility", ahead of the unlimited work-from-home policy and workations. The .NET and Java adverts say "A positive company culture with well-being benefits, private health and accident insurance, and flexible working hours." The MarTech Solutions Manager advert says "A positive company culture with well-being benefits, flexible hours, and vacation policies." No core hours, start and finish times or annual leave total are stated. The careers page adds "Loyalty days off after 3 and 5 years" and "2 fully covered sick days per year without the need to see a doctor". The solutions manager role involves "Managing multiple customer projects simultaneously", and the engineering adverts include leading incident response for production issues, so ask how the team handles out-of-hours cover.
