About MasterBorn

What is MasterBorn?

MasterBorn describes itself in its adverts as "a Polish-American software house building custom digital products for clients across Fintech, Sportstech, and Medtech". Its website calls the team "a world-class team of experienced founders, product owners, engineers, and designers, building AI-powered products" and sells "Fully Managed Product Development". The About page counts "100 +" team members, "7 + Years building great products" and "100 % U.S.-based clients", and names Gray Skinner as CEO, Stanisław Kwiatkowski as COO and Przemysław Królik as CTO. The website footer reads "Nashville, TN, USA". The careers FAQ says teams are "complete Scrum Teams comprising approximately 5-10 people, formed fully in our company" and adds "Hence, there is no outsourcing", while the home page promises "Not Another Outsourced Team".

Where will I work?

On 5 November 2026 all 13 listings on the Lever board are in Wrocław, Poland; one of them is a talent-pool entry rather than a role. Most of the developer, designer, product and QA adverts offer "100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), Polish time zone, Europe-based", and the Talent Acquisition Specialist role is "hybrid but we are open to remote with occasional visits in Wrocław office". The careers page says "You decide where and how you collaborate with us - at home or drop by our shared space!" The clients are American, but the working day follows Poland: the careers page promises "100% Polish working hours" and says "Don't worry - collabing with American clients does NOT mean late nights". Many adverts also ask for Polish at C1 level, for example for "communicate easily within the team", and the careers FAQ says "In MasterBorn, we offer B2B Contract or Mandate Contract as a form of cooperation", so these are contractor-style engagements rather than standard employment contracts.

What is the MasterBorn team like?

The careers FAQ says the company works "with the client’s Product Owner or directly with a client", and the adverts describe joining "one of our teams working with US clients". The About page lists a Tech Team, Design Team, QA Team, Product Team, Customer Success, People & Growth and an AI Guild, and states four core values: Clarity, Growth, Acceptance and Efficiency. The careers page offers "1on1 Mentoring Sessions", internal TechTalks and Hackathons, and says "We meet and workshop together - regularly". The internship adverts promise "A friendly, feedback-driven culture where you can ask anything and grow fast". The recruitment process on the careers page has a recruiter phone call, a recruitment task, a soft-skills interview with the HR team and a technical interview with a senior specialist, followed by feedback and a decision.

Work-Life Balance

Nine of the 13 listings state "flexible hours" in their offer line (the QA advert says "flexible working hours"). They cover Backend (3), Frontend, Design, Product (2), QA and Talent Acquisition roles, for example "Polish time zone, Europe-based, flexible hours, full-time position, long-term contract". The three internship adverts do not carry it, and two of them state part-time work of about 6 hours a day. Under "Flexibility & Healthy Workload" the careers page adds "You decide how you organize your work, and trust us, no overtime is needed. Plus, you get no-service days". The adverts do not state a core-hours window or a weekly hours figure beyond "full-time position", and they list "paid days off" or "no-service days" without a number of days.
