What is Manifesto?
manifesto calls itself "the digital experience agency for changemakers". It designs and builds digital experiences, products and services for charities, cultural organisations, membership bodies and universities, and aims to make them "measurably ethical, inclusive, accessible, sustainable and joyful." Its clients include UNICEF UK, Breast Cancer Now, The Trussell Trust, Woodgreen, the Royal Academy of Arts, the Zoological Society of London, Historic Environment Scotland and Fauna & Flora. Its services run from strategic consulting and customer experience to digital products and technology, data and AI, and its engineers work on platforms such as Umbraco, Drupal, .NET and PHP. manifesto is part of TPXimpact, a digital transformation company and Certified B Corporation, and its company, Manifesto Digital Limited, was incorporated in 2011.
Where will I work?
Anywhere in the UK, mostly from home. "Unless the description specifically states otherwise, all of our roles are open for hybrid working within the UK." One posting describes "the choice to work from home or attend hubs around the country", with some travel to clients and regular team days. A few senior and project-management roles ask for two days a week in the London or Bristol office. manifesto's registered office is The Hickman on Whitechapel Road in London.
What is the Manifesto team like?
manifesto is "a team of 130 digital product leaders, creative designers, user experience designers, engagement specialists, software engineers and experience strategists." It works by its own nine-point manifesto, which includes "everyone in, no one forgotten", "no planet? no nothing", "hold space for joy, magic follows" and "pause, breathe and step away": "We actively encourage our teams to go outside, take a walk, experience all that being alive has to give." Postings publish the salary band, hiring runs through TPXimpact's centralised People Team, and the company welcomes applicants from "traditional and non-traditional routes".
