What is Made Tech?
Its investor site says "Made Tech is a provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector", "Founded in 2008" and listed on AIM. It reports "growing organically from £5.5m in FY20 to £46.4m in FY25" and that "Senior management own c.29% of the company". Its careers page says "Join us in our mission to use technology to improve society for everyone", and its handbook describes the work: "We work with public sector organisations to modernise technology and accelerate digital delivery so that citizens can benefit from better public services". It lists services across data and AI, cloud and engineering, user-centred design and digital service delivery, and sells to central government, local government, health, housing and defence clients.
Where will I work?
Its investor site says its staff are "based in four 'hub' locations across the UK (London, Manchester, Bristol and Swansea)". Its contact page gives the London address as "Made Tech Limited, FORA, 35-41 Folgate Street, London, E1 6BX", with Manchester at "Colony, One Silk Street", Bristol at "Runway East Temple Meads, 101 Victoria St" and Swansea at "Indycube Swansea Central, 11 Wind St". Its handbook says "we encourage 2 - 3 days a month in a Made Tech office", and client-facing staff must be able to travel to their client's office. Its board held 30 postings on 2026-10-14 across bid management, delivery, design, product, cloud, data, software, architecture and security, every one tagged hybrid with the location "Any UK Office Hub (Bristol / London / Manchester / Swansea)"; 11 of them mention security clearance.
What is the Made Tech team like?
Its careers page lists four values: "Client focus", "Drive to deliver", "Learning and mentoring" and "One team". Its handbook says "We're building an open and transparent company across the UK, full of people who are passionate about their work", and the handbook itself is public on GitHub, open to pull requests. One delivery manager on its careers page says "One reason I joined was to be part of a community of delivery folk". Its handbook describes monthly regional socials run by a Social Committee and "a larger winter and summer event" each year.
Work-Life Balance
Its handbook sets "38 days of leave available between June and May, this is inclusive of public and bank holidays", and its postings put it as 30 days of paid annual leave plus bank holidays. The handbook says teams "need to live a well-balanced life and take regular time-out for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation", and that most staff will not be working in the three days between Christmas and New Year, which are booked as holiday. Its careers page lists flexible working hours and days; the handbook says "Generally, we work Monday to Friday (40 hours) in all roles" and that reduced days are paid pro rata. Its maternity policy is "16 weeks maternity/adoption leave at full pay" and its paternity policy "10 weeks paternity leave at full pay". Made Tech does not publish a shorter working week.
