About knowmad mood

What is knowmad mood?

knowmad mood is a Spanish consulting, IT services and software development group. Its English home page says "We are a consulting, IT services and software development company created in 1994, almost 3,000 professionals (all group companies)" and reports 2025 turnover of 270 million euros, marked as non audited data. The history on its careers site begins with "1994 atSistemas is born" and records that in 2023 "atSistemas evolves to knowmad mood", and the Spanish About page says "BME Growth Cotizando desde 2022", so the company has been listed on Spain's BME Growth market since 2022. The services on the website cover digital transformation (eCommerce, UX and UI, mobile), data and analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain and IoT, cloud and infrastructure, Atlassian and ALM consulting, QA and testing, and architecture and development, for clients in banking, insurance, retail, energy, healthcare, telecoms, transport and other sectors. The legal entity named on its legal notice is Aplicaciones y tratamientos de sistemas, S.A.

Where will I work?

The headquarters are in Las Rozas, Madrid: the offices page gives "Calle Jacinto Benavente, 2 Edificio B, Planta 2ª, Parque Empresarial Tripark" with postcode 28232. Other Spanish offices are in Barcelona, Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), A Coruña, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Huelva, Sevilla and Valencia, and the company also lists offices in Milan, Lisbon, Porto, Montevideo, Miami, London, Tangier and Munich. On 6 November 2026 the live job board lists 100 adverts, all for Spain except one freelance Latin America role: 57 sit under Madrid addresses (29 of them under the generic Spain location), 11 under Sevilla, 10 under Las Rozas, 9 under Barcelona, 4 under Palma de Mallorca and 3 under Valencia. The adverts mix remote-first roles, the largest group, with hybrid roles, and many do not state a work model. Many say "Modelo de trabajo en remoto" with "Opción de ir a trabajar a oficinas pero siempre a elección del trabajador" (the option to use the offices, always the employee's choice), and 16 Java adverts say "modalidad 100% remota". Other adverts set a hybrid model, for example "Híbrido 3 días a la semana en Madrid Centro" or "Presencial 1 día a la semana en Sant Cugat del Vallès", and two Business Analyst roles are fully on site in Cantabria ("Presencial 100% Cantabria"). The careers page headlines this as "Work from Home*" with the footnote "As long as the project allows it". The adverts are written in Spanish, except one in English, and a number ask for English.

What is the knowmad mood team like?

The careers page describes "A specialised techie team" of "Great people connected to a common purpose" and says "We are an ecosystem of 23 communities with specialized talent focused on achieving technology excellence." The Spanish pages count more than 44 nationalities. Today's adverts are almost all technical or consulting roles, grouped by community in the board's department field: Java 22, the Hub AI Generative 14, Microsoft 11, project management 5 and technical direction 5, with 24 adverts carrying no department, smaller groups in Atlassian (3), solutions architecture (3), business development (2), labour relations (2), mobile (2) and cloud (2), and single roles in QA, DevOps, business intelligence, commercial and talent acquisition. The careers page also describes UGrowthXperience, an early-careers route with internship, campus and professional tracks. Some adverts describe a feedback culture ("Kudos: fomentamos una cultura de feedback y reconocimiento", meaning we encourage a culture of feedback and recognition), a friends-referral plan, techdays and meetups, and 98 of the 100 carry "Aplicamos nuestro Plan de Igualdad y el principio de no discriminación en todos nuestros procesos de selección". At least seven of the 22 Java adverts place the engineer on a client's project, for example "en un importante cliente del sector textil" (at an important client in the textile sector), so day-to-day work can be inside a client team. The adverts do not describe interview stages.

Work-Life Balance

The careers page states the policy directly: "Flexible workday. You decide when to start your personal life and where your work life ends." with the footnote "As long as the project allows it". The Spanish adverts repeat it as a benefit: "horario flexible entrada 8.30h salida 18h con viernes intensivo de 8h a 15h y en verano (julio y agosto) intensivo de 8h a 15h" (flexible hours, a day from 8:30 to 18:00, an intensive Friday from 8:00 to 15:00 and intensive hours from 8:00 to 15:00 in July and August), and 35 adverts, mostly Java and AI-hub roles but also Atlassian, QA, DevOps, product and business ones, use the form "Horario: 8.30 a 18h ( flexible) L-J y V 8 a 15h e Intensiva de Verano Julio y Agosto de 8 a 15h". On 6 November 2026 the wording was in 76 of 100 adverts, all in Spain (75 in Spanish and one in English; a freelance Latin America advert also carries it and is not counted), across technical direction, AI, Java engineering, cloud and DevOps, QA, project management, product ownership, Atlassian consulting and business development; 23 adverts do not carry it (.NET, Power Platform, labour relations, QA lead and architect, and a few Java and business analyst roles). No core hours are stated. The careers page also lists a summer schedule: "July and August you can enjoy Summer with our Summer Working Schedule." Time off is "22 days + 2 days to use at your disposal." plus 24 and 31 December, which the adverts add up as 26 days of rest. The home page adds "At knowmad mood we want our talent to have a balance between personal life and professional projection."
