What is JetZero?
JetZero is building a 250-seat, international-range commercial aircraft with superior aerodynamics — the all-wing Z4. The company's pitch is direct: "The low-drag, lightweight, all-wing Z4 uses up to 50% less fuel than today's commercial jets." It's the most ambitious clean-sheet airliner project in decades — applying the blended-wing-body concept (long studied in research labs) to commercial aviation.
The program has built an extraordinary partner roster: RTX's Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace lead engine integration and supply power units and nacelles. Customer commitments include investments from Alaska Star Ventures (Alaska Airlines) — "options for future airplane orders" — and United Airlines — "path to purchase up to 200 airplanes." The first U.S. factory will be in Greensboro, NC (PTI), and the company has raised $175M in Series B funding led by B Capital.
The team is "made up of leaders from aerospace, technology, and mobility from around the world," and JetZero positions itself simply: "The future takes shape."
Where will I work?
JetZero is headquartered at 4150 E. Donald Douglas Drive, Long Beach, CA 90808. The team is split: "Half of the team is located at our Long Beach CA campus, with other teammates working remotely near our suppliers, future customers, and partners." The new Greensboro, NC factory adds a second physical anchor.
What is the JetZero team like?
JetZero is hiring across 27 active roles spanning aircraft engineering (Avionics Architect, Aircraft Advanced Design Software Engineer), certification (Certification Manager — Z4 Program), program management, manufacturing, and operations. Salary ranges are explicitly disclosed in every JD — for example, $160K–$180K for the Aircraft Advanced Design Software Engineer role — and the compensation package is "a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees."
