About Fin
What is Fin?
Fin (formerly Intercom) is an AI-first customer-service company; it rebranded from Intercom to Fin in 2026, "rebuilding our product, infrastructure, and team around AI." Its flagship product, the Fin AI Agent, is "the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today" and is "Powered by our own AI models, [resolving] complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration." Fin pairs with "our natively integrated Intercom help desk for one single system," positioning itself as "the only helpdesk designed for the AI Agent era."
Where will I work?
Founded in 2011, the company has grown into "one of the largest private software companies in the world with nearly 30,000 global businesses using our products." The team is "more than 1,400 people across six global offices" in San Francisco, London, Chicago, Dublin, Sydney and Berlin — with San Francisco as headquarters and Dublin as a major engineering hub. Roles are predominantly hybrid: "Fin has a hybrid working policy… We expect employees to be in the office at least three days per week."
What is the team like?
The company is "driven by our core values" and wants "to continue building a special company culture that shapes careers and stays with people long after they leave." Its values emphasize high standards, open-mindedness, resilience, customer obsession and an optimistic, fast-moving mindset — the team "push boundaries, build with speed and intensity, and relentlessly deliver incredible value to our customers" in "a radically open and accepting culture." Staff also get "Unlimited access to Claude Code and best-in-class AI tools," where "experimentation & building is encouraged & celebrated."
Work-Life Balance
Time off is generous and trust-based: US employees get a "Flexible paid time off policy," and other offices an "Open vacation policy and flexible holidays so you can take time off when you need it." Family support is substantial — "Up to 26 weeks of fully paid leave for birthing parents" and "6-8 weeks of fully paid parental leave for non-birthing parents." Wellbeing is backed by an "Employee Assistance Program with mental health support" and "Income protection if illness or injury keeps you from work." Note the hybrid expectation of three in-office days per week.
Perks and Benefits
Comp combines "Competitive salary and meaningful equity," with "stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)" and "Regular compensation reviews." Health cover is "Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage," plus "Life insurance coverage up to 4x your annual salary." In-office perks include lunch "every weekday," a "Cycle-to-Work Scheme," commuter benefits, MacBooks as standard, and "Fun events for employees, friends, and family!"
