About Impression

What is Impression?

Impression is an award-winning digital growth agency that devises and delivers digital marketing strategies for brands across the UK and internationally. Founded in 2012, the agency offers SEO, paid media, digital PR, digital experience, digital strategy, and media solutions — winning 3 awards at the 2026 Global Agency Awards and being shortlisted 4 times at the 2026 ceremony, plus twice at the 2025 Campaign Agency of the Year awards.

Impression is a Certified B Corporation® — part of a group of companies "reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit", certified by B Lab as having met rigorous social and environmental standards. The agency is also officially recognised as a Great Place to Work®, listed in the "Flexa 100" Most Flexible Companies, and named in UK''s Best Workplaces and UK''s Best Workplaces for Women.

Where will I work?

Impression has four offices: Nottingham HQ (Fothergill House, 16 King St, NG1 2AS), London (Runway East Borough Market, 20 St Thomas Street, SE1 9RS), Manchester (Colony, 1 Silk St, Ancoats, M4 6LZ), and New York (160 Varick Street, 10013) — operated through Impression Digital Inc. registered in Delaware. The hybrid working approach lets people choose between full-time office presence, a few days a week, or fully remote depending on the role: "we will empower you to work in an environment that best suits the activity."

What is the Impression team like?

The collaborative, creative, and inclusive culture is repeatedly cited by team members on Glassdoor. Career progression runs through a Continuous Performance Management (CPM) framework with clearly defined job levels, transparent salary bandings, and pathways for progression — combined with tri-annual reviews using the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology. There''s an additional training budget for each member of the team on top of "a huge amount of internal training".

Impression switched to a 4.5-day working week in September 2023, finishing at 12:30pm on Fridays.
