About Huntress
What is Huntress?
Huntress is a managed cybersecurity company on a mission to make enterprise-grade security accessible to businesses of all sizes. Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress builds its technology in-house and backs it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC), so its platform is "never disconnected from the experts who manage it." Its Managed Security Platform spans Managed EDR, identity threat detection and response (ITDR), SIEM, security awareness training, and endpoint and identity protection. Huntress now secures "more than 5M endpoints and 11M identities worldwide," working with the security teams and service providers who protect complex environments without the time or headcount to handle it all.
Where will I work?
Anywhere. Huntress describes itself as "a fully remote, global team" and offers a "100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015." As the company puts it, "We've been a remote team from day one – and we've got the tools, systems and processes to be successful outside of a corporate office or HQ." The team is global, with roles across the US, UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia.
What is the Huntress team like?
Huntress is built around three core values: "Own It, Elevate It, and Send It." The team rallies around a concept it calls "BElonging" — "a collective, consistent, and calming belief that you—and everyone around you—are part of our mission and are valued." The company emphasizes transparency, collaboration, breaking down silos, and being "a force for good," and is "committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are." It's a fast-scaling environment, recently pushing past $200M in revenue.
Work-Life Balance
Huntress backs its remote-first model with a "Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays," plus floating holidays and bereavement leave in the US. New parents receive 12 weeks of paid parental leave. The company's people-first culture has been externally recognized — Huntress was named to Inc.'s Best Workplaces list in 2025 for the second consecutive year.
Perks and Benefits
Huntress offers comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) with a 5% company contribution "regardless of employee contribution." Every full-time employee receives stock options. To support remote work, Huntress provides a one-time $500 home-office reimbursement and a $75/month digital reimbursement. For growth, there's an annual education and professional development allowance plus access to the BetterUp coaching platform.
