About Hostinger
What is Hostinger?
Hostinger is a web hosting company founded in 2004 in Kaunas, Lithuania, and headquartered in Vilnius. Its About page describes it as "an agentic platform to build, run, and grow your business online, all in one place", says it is "built and improved by 1000+ people", and a senior advert says "900 people in 40 countries, 5M+ customers, the largest markets India, Brazil, the United States". The product range covers web hosting, domains, email and website creation, and the ads describe an AI-first company: "Our AI agent handles 90 percent of support interactions and saves €14 million a year."
Where will I work?
The About page lists offices in Kaunas and Vilnius (Lithuania), Luxembourg and Yogyakarta (Indonesia). On 6 November 2026 the board had 44 live ads: Vilnius 34, Poland 4, Kaunas 4, Indonesia 1 and El Salvador 1. The standard benefits text in the ads says "Work where you do your best work: our offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jakarta, or Luxembourg, your home, or anywhere in the world", and the careers page repeats "Work from home, our offices, or anywhere in the world". The arrangement still varies by role: one engineering ad says "Based in Lithuania: hybrid setup (Kaunas or Vilnius office) under a direct employment contract" and "Based elsewhere in Europe: fully remote, working as a contractor", and a senior ad says "Remote work with periodic visits to Vilnius would be a good option". The ads do not state a fixed number of office days.
What is the Hostinger team like?
The ads span Product, Marketing, Revenue & Data, Finance, Business Operations, Design, People and Customer Success. The careers page is built around "10 Hostinger principles" and is candid about fit under "Where we might not suit you": "Plans can change quickly", "We set a high bar and keep raising it" and "Feedback is direct, specific, and goes both ways". Most roles run through seven stages, from an HR screening call and a hiring manager interview to a technical assessment (AI tools are allowed), a meeting with the team, "The Mindset Map" exercise, a bar raiser and a decision. Shift and on-call roles are a different shape of job: the Kaunas AI Technical Support ad describes "morning, day, and night shifts that rotate on a monthly basis", the Indonesia sysadmin manager ad covers "the Asia-Pacific daytime window of our 24/7 global rotation", and the Kaunas Junior System Engineer ad asks for "a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation".
Work-Life Balance
The benefits block in 37 of the 44 ads on the board on 6 November 2026, across seven functions, says: "You plan your own day and own your results, and good ideas go live fast." The careers page adds "the flexibility to shape when and how you work best", and principle six says "You have the freedom to decide how you work, and the responsibility to make it work." No core-hours window or required overlap is stated in the ads or on the careers page. Three more ads use a different wording, "Enjoy flexibility in managing your schedule". Time off to recharge is listed as a wellness benefit without a day count, and the company is open that it sets "a high bar" and that plans can change quickly.
