What is Helion?
Helion is a private fusion power company on a mission to build the world's first commercial fusion power plant, enabling a future with clean, reliable and affordable electricity. Founded in 2013 by a team of plasma physicists, Helion uses a unique magneto-inertial fusion approach and has raised $1.5 billion from investors including Sam Altman, Mithril and Capricorn Investment Group. Microsoft is its first announced power customer.
