Griffin describes itself as "the UK's first full-stack Banking as a Service platform" and "the bank for companies who want to build and launch financial products". Its about page says "Integrate with Griffin via simple APIs to embed bank accounts, payments, and more into your products.", and its product pages list business bank accounts, savings accounts, client money, safeguarding, embedded bank accounts, Verify and payments. Griffin Bank Ltd is "authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority", and its footer gives its address as Salisbury House, 29 Finsbury Circus, London. Its five open roles on 2026-10-16 were an Assurance Manager, a Treasury Manager, a Compliance Advisory Manager, an Operational Controls Lead and an Infrastructure Engineer.
Where will I work?
The careers page says "We're remote-first. Most of our people work from home most of the time" and "We hire primarily within the UK." Every posting is listed "London or remote within the UK", and says "most of our team works remotely full-time. We have a small London office in Moorgate for those who want it, and about a third of the company is close enough to use it occasionally, but there's no expectation to be there." Wherever you live, "we'll pay for a desk, monitor, and chair for your home office", and Griffin provides "access to a global network of co-working spaces via Desana". The team meets "once or twice a year in a delightful venue to build connection and align on strategy", and a bot pairs staff with a random colleague for weekly "Virtual coffees".
What is the Griffin team like?
Staff are called Grifflings, and the culture page says "Our culture is our most important asset. It allows us to move quickly with a high default level of trust and autonomy." Its core values are "Be deserving of trust", "Thoughtfulness" and "Kindness and empathy", and its core behaviours are "Simple made easy", "Resilience" and "Transparent". The page says "We place a heavy emphasis on writing", and the values are described as "descriptive, not aspirational", with a warning that "We won't work with people who don't embody our core values". Three of the five postings state a salary ("up to £60k", "£50-60k (DOE)"), and the hiring process runs about two to three weeks: a call with the talent team, a manager conversation, a task "based on what you'll be doing on a day to day at Griffin", a peer interview, and a culture and founder interview.
Work-Life Balance
Postings say "Time off: 25 days' holiday, bank holidays and a winter break (we shut down between Christmas and New Year)", which comes to about 36 days a year counting the shutdown. Among its values in action the careers page lists Flexibility: "We care about your insights and your impact – not how many hours you spend at your desk." It also offers "Work from outside the UK for up to 20 days a year, split across as many trips as you like." Parental leave is "Enhanced parental leave with up to six months on full pay for all parents, after two years' service", and a product lead quoted on the page calls it "rare, especially for an early-stage company".
