What is Grantham College?
Grantham College is a forward-thinking further education institution in Lincolnshire, dedicated to empowering learners and fostering an inclusive, positive environment. With over 60 years' experience providing education and training (founded 1953), the College offers Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Adult Learning and Full-Time Courses across vocational and academic disciplines.
The College serves learners across Lincolnshire and beyond, with a strong emphasis on linking education to employment outcomes and industry placements. The campus on Stonebridge Road in Grantham (NG31 9AP) houses programs from Engineering and IT through to Hair & Beauty, Hospitality and Childcare, alongside the on-site Apple Tree Restaurant and R&R Hair & Beauty Salon — both of which provide live training environments while serving the local community.

What is the Grantham College team like?

Work-Life Balance
Grantham College operates a permanent 4-day working week. Full-time staff work a full contract Monday-Thursday, with one Friday morning worked each month, with pro-rata reductions for part-time staff. Academic staff receive 33 days annual leave plus five additional paid closure days over the Christmas period.
