About Galt Pharmaceuticals
What is Galt Pharmaceuticals?
Galt Pharmaceuticals is an Atlanta-based specialty pharmaceutical company that develops and commercialises prescription medications addressing the unmet clinical needs of many patient types. The company is named after John Galt, the fictional Ayn Rand character who "represented the pursuit of a better way within challenging systems" — Galt's "better way" is a unique model of delivering pharmaceutical care to enhance the lives of patients and the people who care for them.
A core focus is non-opioid, non-controlled, multimodal pain relief — a direct response to the opioid crisis. Current products include Norgesic® (Orphenadrine Citrate / Aspirin / Caffeine), Tolectin® (Tolmetin Sodium 400/600 mg), Oravig® (Miconazole Buccal 50 mg) and Doral® (Quazepam 15 mg). Galt also operates patient assistance support programs through the Galt Direct Help Desk for those facing financial hardship.
The company is structured around four pillars: PATIENTS (medications with little or no out-of-pocket cost for those drugs); ENTREPRENEURS (a "Pharmaceutical Phranchise" model via partnership with Galt Phranchise Systems); EMPLOYEES; and COMMUNITIES.
Where will I work?
Galt is headquartered at 3350 Riverwood Parkway, Suite 1900, Atlanta, GA 30339. The company operates a hybrid model.
What is the Galt Pharmaceuticals team like?
The leadership team has been "uniquely put together based on the growth needs of our distinct business model": Wade Smith (Chairman and Co-Founder), Barry Patel (CEO and Co-Founder), Anna Claire Fry (Chief Operating Officer), Manoj Amaraneni (Chief Regulatory Officer) and Brian Imperiale (Controller). Galt only works with healthcare practices "that share our vision of patient centricity and the commitment of every patient receiving the medication they were prescribed."
