About Forter
What is Forter?
Forter is the Identity Intelligence Experts, a global leader in fraud prevention dedicated to building trust in digital commerce. Founded in 2013 by childhood friends Michael Reitblat and Liron Damri — Israelis working in the US who'd had their own credit cards rejected when registering forter.com — the company replaces rules-based fraud review with a fully automated platform that decides every digital commerce interaction based on a complete understanding of identity. The Forter decision engine "finds patterns across more than one billion identities in our dataset."
Since launching in 2013, Forter has raised $525 million from Tiger Global, Bessemer, Sequoia Capital, March Capital and Salesforce Ventures. Customers include Adobe, ASOS, eBay, Instacart, Priceline and Nordstrom. The product portfolio covers Fraud Management, Payment Optimization, Dispute Management, Account Protection, Abuse Prevention and the Forter Element platform.
Where will I work?
Forter is a team of over 600 spread across 3 continents, with key hubs in New York (HQ), Tel Aviv, London and Tokyo. The hybrid model expects team members based near these hubs to work from the office at least three days per week — Forter believes "regular face-to-face collaboration fuels professional development, strengthens our culture, and builds the relationships that help teams thrive." JDs are open across the US, UK, Israel, Singapore and Japan.
What is the Forter team like?
Forter is "very much driven by a defined set of values" — Inclusive, Mission-driven, Principled, Attentive, Courageous, Transparent. The company has been Great Place to Work certified five years running (2021-2025), Fortune's Best Workplaces in NYC four years (2022-2025), Forbes Cloud 100 five years (2021-2025), and won Anti-fraud Solution of the Year at the Payments Awards 2024. "Trust is central to how we operate," and Forter is "meticulous about strengthening our culture as we grow."
