About Fluxon

What is Fluxon?

Fluxon is a software product studio: "Fluxon is a team of tech leaders from Google, Stripe and top startups trusted by the most innovative companies to build world-class software products." Its about page describes "a global software development company" run by "builders passionate about technology and focused on results", led by co-founders Erad Fridman (CEO), Jen Gil (CPO), AJ Ross (CTO) and Ena Zheng (COO).

The work spans "Full product build: From strategy to launch; end-to-end development", "AI development", "Staff augmentation" and "UX & UI Design", delivered through a five-phase "Fluxon Method" — define, design, build, launch, iterate — in which teams "serve as a deeply committed extension of your team". Client logos on Fluxon's own site include Google, Stripe, Zapier and AWS, and the studio ships its own products too — Dory, Kioskly, NotiBlast, Pluto and OpenBracket.

Where will I work?

Fluxon is remote-first, with a registered office in San Francisco. "We set you up with the latest tech and let you work how you want, where you want," the careers page says. Open roles are advertised as fully remote in the United States, Canada, Poland and Portugal; team members quoted on the site are based in Canada, the USA, Ukraine and India. Everyone gets "a budget to set up a work space that works for you", and the company runs "annual company offsites, where we gather in person to build meaningful connections."

What is the Fluxon team like?

Fluxon's stated philosophy runs to three lines: "Do great work", "Join a world-class team" and "Accelerate together". Its pitch to candidates is care-first — "building a future where care is the driving force behind the world's best products" — and it looks for people who are "curious, driven, and deeply care about your craft".

Because it is a studio, engineers, designers, product managers and technical project managers rotate across many products rather than owning one codebase forever, developing "expertise in a variety of customer domains such as AI, healthcare, SaaS, eCommerce". Design hiring is deliberately portfolio-led — "Portfolio first. Everything else later."

Work-Life Balance

Fluxon runs "Company-wide 'no internal meetings' Fridays to help you focus on deep, uninterrupted work", stated on most open roles. One team member describes the rhythm: "Asynchronous communication first means that I get to catch up when I have capacity, and can dive into deep work more regularly."

Time off is flexible rather than unlimited, and unusually it comes with a floor: "Flexible paid time off with a minimum of 3 weeks per year (plus holidays)". The careers page puts it plainly — "Take the time you need whenever you need it. You don't even need to ask permission. Really." There is also "a paid sabbatical program, designed for rest, renewal and fresh perspective".
