What is Figures?
Figures is Europe's leading compensation management platform, helping companies make fair and efficient salary decisions through salary benchmarking, equity analysis, and pay transparency solutions. Founded October 2020 in Paris by Virgile Raingeard and Bastien Formery.
Where will I work?
Remote-first across Europe — two-thirds of the team works remotely from various places across the continent. Headquarters in Paris (with optional in-person time) plus an office in Annecy. Monthly team gatherings in the Paris office for three days of alignment and bonding.
What is the Figures team like?
~53 employees across product, engineering, compensation expertise, customer success and sales. Pan-European (mostly France + remote across EU). Strong values-led + transparent culture (their own product is about pay transparency).
Work-Life Balance
Figures runs a permanent 9-day fortnight company-wide. From their own published blog post: "25 days of annual paid time off and 1 extra day off every fortnight (we apply a '9-day fortnight' schedule: we get Wednesday or Friday off every other week)."
The 9-day fortnight was implemented after a 4-month trial (June-October 2022) and applies to all teams. Designed so that all roles can fully disconnect on their scheduled day off. The arrangement gives staff an average of 199 worked days per year (significantly fewer than the standard ~225-230 in France).
