What is Feedzai?
Feedzai builds the AI that banks and payment companies use to stop financial crime. In its own words: "At Feedzai, we're building a world of safer money. A world where financial institutions move faster than criminals. Where the payments that fund real lives through salaries, savings, and businesses are protected in real time." The company says it uses "trusted AI to detect and prevent financial crime, fraud, and money laundering at scale", and that "the world's top banks, payment networks, and acquirers trust our technology to safeguard more than one billion consumers and $9 trillion in payment volume every year". Its careers site describes Feedzai as "the cloud platform for managing financial risk", scoring "trillions of dollars in transactions" annually. Feedzai calls itself "a Series D company" that "has raised $282M to date", at a valuation of $2 billion.
Where will I work?
Feedzai is a Portuguese-founded company with a deep Iberian engineering base and a substantial US and European commercial presence. It publishes "10 Global Offices", naming New York, London, Atlanta, Coimbra, Porto and Lisbon, and says that under its Flex/Remote policies "Feedzaians work in 16+ countries across the globe". The published remote-country list spans Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the USA. Most open engineering roles sit in Portugal; sales and partnerships roles are spread across Germany, France, Singapore, the UK and the US.
What is the Feedzai team like?
Feedzai calls its people Feedzaians and publishes five values to describe them. They are "dynamic, tenacious, and driven by our passion to fight financial fraud and crime with our socially responsible products"; the company says "we value the insatiably curious", that it is "fueled by our unshakable team spirit", that "we're free to shape our future", and that "we believe in the power of our products". Engineering is "formed by engineers and managed by engineers", working on "distributed systems that need to operate 24/7 and ultra-low latencies". New joiners get a structured first month: "You will be immersed in our brand with training, connections, and one-on-one time with your manager."
Work-Life Balance
Feedzai publishes a named Flex/Remote work policy with three settings for anyone near an office: "Primarily Office Based: You are in the office regularly 4 – 5 days per week", "Flexible: You are in the office 2-3 days per week", and "Primarily Remote: You are in the office 1-2 days per month, as business requires". Employees who are not near one of the global offices can work fully remotely. Alongside "Flexible Work Hours" and "Personal Time Off", the published benefits list names "August 4 Day Work Weeks" — a reduced week Feedzai runs during August specifically, rather than year-round — plus "Mental Health / Menstruation Leave" days and a well-being allowance.
