About Factbird
What is Factbird?
Factbird is a Copenhagen-based manufacturing intelligence company. Its plug-and-play edge devices and cloud platform turn live production data into decisions about downtime, quality and throughput for manufacturers. The company says "Over 300 companies use Factbird to understand, analyze, and improve their operations", that it is used in 28 countries, and that it has offices in the US and Denmark. It started as a project by Emendo Consulting Group for Royal Unibrew, was called Blackbird at first, and "we rebranded to Factbird in 2023". The legal entity is Factbird ApS (Danish company register number 37 19 24 22). Its news page reports that Expedition Growth Capital and EIFO invested $16M in November 2023 and that Verdane made "a strategic majority investment" announced on 6 August 2026.
Where will I work?
The headquarters is in Copenhagen: the company's own terms give the address as Havneholmen 2, 2450 København SV, and a revenue operations advert says the role is "based at our office at Havneholmen in Copenhagen". The careers page says "We are over 80 colleagues of more than 20 different nationalities", with "a strong presence in the US and throughout Europe". The 21 postings live on 6 November 2026 are 13 distinct roles: nine postings in Copenhagen, two in Italy, and the rest listed for Germany, the United Kingdom or Remote - EMEA. Take the location tags with care. Four postings tagged Germany or Remote - EMEA are Copenhagen-based technical roles. Two say "This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and requires relocation" and ask for "eligibility for a Danish work permit", and two "welcome applicants from people eager to move to Denmark so long as you already have the legal right to live and work here". The Italy consultant role is described as "Full-time, remote, based in Italy, with travel across the region", and the customer success manager adverts say "Most of your week is spent at customer sites".
What is the Factbird team like?
The careers page lists five values: Own it, Know our customers, Collaborate and communicate freely, Always be better, and Have fun. It says "We don't just sit at computers all day" and mentions a running club, yoga, football and a book club. The adverts promise "Company-wide kickoffs & team days" and "A global, inclusive culture", and the hiring process runs through a preliminary call, an interview with your future manager and team, a skills assessment, and a last interview with the CEO. The sales adverts are direct about expectations: the enterprise role wants "a true hunter" who builds their own pipeline, and the Italy sales director "carries a personal quota".
Work-Life Balance
Flexible working hours are listed as a benefit in all 21 adverts, across engineering, product, sales, marketing, revenue operations, customer success and consulting. Nineteen carry the full line, "Flexible working hours: we trust you to manage your time. Life isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is work." and two (the business development representative and the operational excellence consultant) carry the short form "Flexible working hours — we trust you to manage your time". The careers page adds a general statement: "We cherish a vibrant work culture that respects your personal life." No core hours, weekly hours or leave allowance are published. Several roles are travel-heavy: the customer success adverts expect "around 80% business travel" and the consulting advert says "Travel can be up to 75% during peak periods".
