About Eventbrite
What is Eventbrite?
Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing platform and events marketplace that allows users to create, share, find, and attend live experiences. Founded in 2006 by Julia Hartz, Kevin Hartz, and Renaud Visage, the company empowers individuals to host and discover events, serving a community of 89 million monthly users across nearly 180 countries. Eventbrite went public in 2018 (NYSE: EB) and powered the sale of 270 million tickets across 4.7 million events in 2024.
Where will I work?
Eventbrite is remote-friendly with a US headquarters in San Francisco and additional hubs in the UK. Most roles in the current pipeline are advertised as remote within their respective country.
What is the Eventbrite team like?
A team of ~750 distributed across product, engineering, sales, customer success and operations. The current job pipeline is small (post-2023 reorganisation), with hiring concentrated in customer-facing renewal and retention roles.
Work-Life Balance
Eventbrite's flagship time-off benefit is unlimited paid time off for US employees, with generous vacation policies globally. Layered on top is BriteBreaks — a paid company-wide day off, generally the first Friday of every month — so the whole company unplugs together. Eventbrite is also a Great Place to Work-certified employer (2024–2025).
