About EcoVadis
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis describes itself as "the leading provider of business sustainability ratings". Its teams analyse company data and build sustainability scorecards that give customers insight into their environmental, social and ethical risks, and its stated purpose is to "guide all companies toward a sustainable world". The about page says the company was founded in 2007 and now has a network of more than 150,000 rated companies. Ecovadis SAS gives its head office as 43 avenue de la Grande armée in Paris on its legal page, and the about page's timeline lists 200M€ of funding from CVC and 500M€ of funding from General Atlantic and Astorg. This is a sizeable, investor-backed company: the about page puts the team at over 1900 people.
Where will I work?
The head office is in Paris, and the contact page lists addresses in Barcelona (Carrer de Bilbao 144), Warsaw (Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18), Berlin, London, New York, Toronto, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Mexico City. The careers page says "We offer a hybrid work model and prioritize hiring near our office locations." On 6 November 2026 the company's SmartRecruiters board listed 25 adverts; the 14 read for this profile are 6 in Barcelona, 5 in Warsaw, and one each in Berlin, Paris and Kuala Lumpur (the other 11 are in Toronto, Tokyo, Quatre Bornes in Mauritius and London). Of those, the four Senior Product Manager adverts (Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Warsaw) list "Hybrid work organization (2 office days per week)", while six of the seven engineering adverts in Barcelona and Warsaw read "Hybrid in Barcelona (2 days per week in the office) / Full remote from Spain" and the Polish equivalent (the Warsaw Squad Lead advert says only "Hybrid in Warsaw (2 days per week in the office)"). The engineering adverts add "Offer available only for candidates eligible to work and live in Spain" (or Poland), so hiring is country-based rather than worldwide.
What is the EcoVadis team like?
The about page describes a team "composed of over 1900 highly-talented professionals from 80 nationalities". The careers page lists six core values: Make Sustainability Real, Every Customer Matter, Belong, Integrity at our core, Dare to and Be Kind, and the last of these says "Team spirit and work-life harmony are key to helping our team thrive." Employee-led resource groups and a peer recognition program appear in the benefit list of all 14 adverts read. The Network Growth sales advert promises a "Dedicated Coaching Culture: Structured biweekly evaluations, practical team learning, and regular feedback designed to help you succeed." The product and engineering roles on the board are senior positions in product management, AI/ML and knowledge-graph engineering. The hiring process has usually four steps: a short meeting with the recruitment team, a meeting with potential teammates, role-specific tasks with the team leader, then reference checks and an offer.
Work-Life Balance
"Flexible working hours" is listed among the benefits in 13 of the 14 adverts read on 6 November 2026: Product, Engineering, Sales and Revenue Enablement roles in Spain (6), Poland (5), Germany (1) and France (1). The adverts do not state a core-hours window or a fixed schedule, and the careers page itself only lists a "Flexible hybrid working model", so the hours flexibility rests on the advert benefit lists. The six Barcelona adverts also list "Summer Hours in July and August (36 hours per week)", but they do not say which days are shortened and do not state the normal weekly hours, so that line is recorded here as a fact and not as a summer-Friday policy. Other time-off lines in the Spanish adverts are "Time off: 1 Community Service Day + 1 Personal Day", "Paid moving day (1/year)" and a paid employee volunteer day. Annual leave days are not stated in any advert.
