What is Earth Species Project?
Earth Species Project is a non-profit research lab using AI to decode non-human communication — training foundation models on animal vocalisations, from whales to crows, to transform our understanding of (and relationship with) the rest of nature.
Where will I work?
Anywhere — ESP is a fully remote team, with regular team retreats around the world.
What is the ESP team like?
Around 38 people: ML researchers, biologists, engineers and a small operations/development team, funded by philanthropic partners.
