Who we are

Born in 2015, Discord is where friends and communities talk, play, and hang out through high‑quality voice, video, and text. Over 200 million people each month use Discord across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS to make group chats more fun, stream together, and stay connected before, during, and after games. Based in San Francisco with an office in Amsterdam, we're building a simple, reliable way to deepen friendships around games and shared interests.

Our team

We don't just build Discord—we use it. Our flexible work model lets people choose where they work best: at home, at our San Francisco HQ, in Amsterdam, or a mix of both. Many roles are centered in the San Francisco Bay Area to foster a vibrant hub, while select roles are open across the U.S., Canada (Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia), and the Netherlands. Teams are collaborative and hands‑on, tackling real‑time audio/video challenges and core product experiences that power conversations for hundreds of millions of users.
