What is DeleteMe?
DeleteMe's About page says "Our mission is to provide everyone with the power to control their digital identity." It describes helping people and organizations "reclaim their privacy by removing personal data from online sources". Its postings call it "the leader in proactive privacy protection" and say it helps individuals, families, businesses and security teams "reduce their human attack surface by continuously monitoring and removing exposed personal data (PII) from the open web". They add that DeleteMe "has completed over 100 million opt-out removals" and that "30% of the Fortune 100, top tech firms, major banks, federal agencies, and U.S. states rely on DeleteMe to protect their workforce."
Its site says it is "built and run by Abine, Inc. The Online Privacy Company", and that its founders "created DeleteMe in 2010".
Where will I work?
Its About page says "We are incredibly proud of our remote-only workforce that collaborates across the globe". Of its twelve postings on 2026-10-09, nine are remote roles across the United States (privacy operations, customer success, marketing, partnerships, sales and solutions engineering). Three engineering and product roles are listed as on-site in Boston, MA, and the public-sector account executive role asks that the person "Resides in Boston, MA or the DMV Area". Several remote postings say "Preferred candidates are located within the Eastern Time Zone", and its customer success roles list "Ability to travel up to 20% to support onboarding, implementations".
What is the DeleteMe team like?
Its About page says its remote workforce's "balanced approach allows our employees to focus on what matters most to them; and work the way that is best for them!", and that it is looking for people who "bring their expertise and whole self to work". Its postings say the company "is led by a passionate and experienced team and driven by a powerful mission to empower consumers with privacy", and describe its Privacy Operations team as "the beating heart of the organization". Teams range from privacy operations and customer success to engineering, product, marketing and sales.
Work-Life Balance
Its careers page lists "20 days of Paid Time Off", "11 Company-Paid Holidays" and "Birthday Off": 31 days off a year plus a birthday, before sick leave. Four of its postings list "20 days paid time off", "15 sick days" and "12 company-paid holidays" instead, and the page notes that "Benefits and eligibility may vary based on role, location, employment status, and other factors." It also lists "Paid Parental Leave" (the length is not stated), a "Work From Home Stipend" and "Child Care Reimbursement".
