About Daybreak Health
What is Daybreak Health?
Daybreak Health is a San Francisco-based teletherapy platform focused on youth mental health. Founded in 2019 and launched in 2020, the company partners with US school districts (60+ districts, 1M+ students reached) to provide on-demand and scheduled video therapy for K-12 students via a HIPAA-compliant mobile app and provider portal.
Daybreak engages licensed clinicians (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC) on a part-time basis to deliver student-facing teletherapy. Clinicians work with consistent caseloads of students and families assigned through the district partnerships.
Where will I work?
Fully remote across the United States. Clinicians must hold active state licensure for the states they serve; multi-state licensure is a strong fit.
What is the Daybreak Health team like?
Mission-driven youth mental-health focus with a strong evidence-based-practice orientation. Active clinical supervision, peer consultation groups, and EHR-supported workflows. Company HQ in San Francisco; the broader clinical team is fully remote.
Work-Life Balance
Part-time clinician roles are typically structured around school district calendars (heavier during school year, lighter in summer). Hours flex within available session blocks; clinicians can scale up or down per their availability. Scheduled session work means the role IS shift-bound, but within a wide weekly window.
