What is CloudFit Software?
CloudFit Software is a Microsoft-focused technology company headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a mission "to run every mission-critical workload". Founded in 2018 by former Microsoft leaders, it brings "more than 140 years of combined Microsoft experience" to organizations across government, defense and commercial industries. It helps them securely operate and optimize their Microsoft environments through cloud engineering, cybersecurity, CMMC compliance, managed services, Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing, application development and AI. "We do not sell software, we sell outcomes," it says. In 2025 Microsoft named it Global Defense & Intelligence Partner of the Year, and in 2026 it made the Inc. 5000 of fastest-growing private companies for the fourth time.
Where will I work?
CloudFit's headquarters is the historic Carter Glass Building on Church Street in downtown Lynchburg, and it runs two more sites in the city. Beyond Lynchburg, its "senior employees" are "located across 32 states". Its current openings mix remote US roles in finance and people operations with roles in Lynchburg, including software engineering. Many of its positions "require the ability to obtain security clearance", which may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
