What is CERN?
CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is the world's leading laboratory for particle physics and the home of the Large Hadron Collider. Founded in 1954 and based on the outskirts of Geneva, it brings together physicists, engineers, computer scientists and administrative professionals from its Member States to push the frontiers of science and technology — the World Wide Web was invented here.
Where will I work?
On-site at CERN's campuses in Geneva/Meyrin, Switzerland — one of the most extraordinary scientific facilities on Earth. Staff roles are open to nationals of CERN Member and Associate Member States.
