About Calendly
What is Calendly?
Calendly is a scheduling-automation platform that removes the back-and-forth of finding a time to meet. Founded in 2013 by Tope Awotona, who invested his personal savings to launch it, Calendly lets people share their availability so others can book meetings in a click. It has grown into one of the most widely used scheduling tools in the world: more than 20 million individuals and businesses across 230+ countries rely on it, and over 100,000 companies use Calendly to close deals, hire talent and build relationships. The product connects to 100+ integrations and was ranked #1 in G2's 2024 Fall Report for Online Appointment Scheduling.
Where will I work?
Calendly is a Remote-First company. Roles are advertised as remote within the United States (with a small number of San Francisco-based positions), and the company supports distributed work with home-office and tech stipends. Calendly is registered as an employer in most, but not all, US states, so individual roles specify their location eligibility. Pay is set against geographic tiers based on your remote work location, and roles may involve occasional travel for company events, team collaboration or offsites.
What is the Calendly team like?
Culture is anchored in four values: Focus on impact (prioritise the highest-impact work), Find a way (act with urgency and find creative solutions), Customer experience obsessed (keep customers at the centre of decisions) and One team (succeed together through accountability and collaboration). Calendly describes itself as a place to "learn, grow, and do the best work of your life alongside the best people you've ever worked with," and teams stay connected through an annual company kickoff and local meetups.
Work-Life Balance
Calendly offers Generous PTO alongside an annual company-wide holiday closure, so the whole team recharges together. Paid Parental Leave supports all types of parents. As a Remote-First employer, Calendly is built around flexible, distributed work rather than a daily commute.
Perks and Benefits
Calendly's total rewards package includes competitive pay and equity for full-time employees, plus a Top Performer Bonus program (or sales incentive). Health coverage spans medical, dental and vision for employees and their families, with FSAs and HSAs available. The company also provides a 401(k) match with immediate vesting, company-paid life and disability insurance, home-office and tech stipends, and a giving-back program for volunteering and charitable contributions.
