What is Builder.io?
Builder.io is pioneering the space between design and development, creating a new category of visual development. The platform spans a headless CMS, visual page builder, and AI-driven design-to-code workflows — letting product teams ship marketing sites, web apps, prototypes, headless commerce, and multi-brand experiences faster than custom-built systems.
The product surface is broad: Fusion and Publish are the core platforms, with use cases spanning Design to Code, Headless CMS, Multi-Brand CMS, Landing Pages, Web Apps, Prototypes, Marketing Sites, and Headless Commerce. Builder is also leaning into AI workflows: Figma AI to Production Code, AI Prototyping for Product Managers, Figma to Storybook, and a Figma to App Converter sit alongside the traditional CMS.
Where will I work?
Builder.io is fully remote and globally distributed, with open roles across the U.S., United Kingdom, Canada, and Europe. The SF Bay Area is preferred for some roles (xDR is the only hybrid SF role currently listed). The company offers strong remote-work infrastructure: WeWork all-access passes or $300/month reimbursement at any other local co-working space.
What is the Builder.io team like?
Builder.io is hiring across 13 active roles spanning Sales (Commercial Account Executive UK, Bay Area; Enterprise AE East/West/UK; Enterprise Sales Engineer; xDR), Customer Engineering, Customer Success (EMEA), Product Marketing, Engineering (Lead Infrastructure Engineer; Senior Software Engineer US/EU), and Revenue Operations. The Senior Software Engineer JD location reads "Remote - US / EU" and the Lead Infrastructure Engineer is "Remote - North America" — the team is genuinely globally distributed.
The compensation philosophy is transparent in JDs: "compensation may vary by country and local market and will be discussed early in the interview process. Final offer amounts are determined based on experience, role-related knowledge, skills, and abilities."
Work-Life Balance
Builder.io offers Unlimited Time Off with a 3-week minimum required per year — the company explicitly asks you to take at least 3 weeks. On top, there are Mental Health Days with the explicit framing "we encourage you to take at least one per quarter to recharge."
